Going beyond the CGM app

The diabetes dashboard
Dexcom should have built.

GlucoHome takes your raw CGM data and turns it into something you can actually learn from — with clinical-grade charts, personalised education, and tools that help you understand what it's like to live well with diabetes.

Charts & Visualisation

The glucose chart Dexcom should have built

Dexcom's app shows you a line. GlucoHome shows you the story. Our Ambulatory Glucose Profile (AGP) chart — the gold standard used by endocrinologists worldwide — overlays your glucose patterns across time-of-day, making trends you'd normally miss instantly visible.

Add to that a 24-hour heatmap, a Time-in-Range donut, and a 90-day HbA1c trend graph, and you have a complete clinical picture of your glucose control — in one place, always up to date.

What you get

AGP (Ambulatory Glucose Profile) chart
Time-in-Range breakdown (Normal / Low / High / Very High)
90-day estimated HbA1c trend
24-hour glucose heatmap
Glucose variability & standard deviation
Overlay meal events and exercise on your glucose curve
Diabetes Education

Understanding your numbers, not just seeing them

A glucose reading of 9.2 mmol/L means nothing without context. GlucoHome tells you what it means — whether that reading is post-meal (probably fine), fasting (worth watching), or part of a sustained overnight pattern (worth discussing with your doctor).

We annotate your data with plain-language explanations, highlight clinically significant events, and surface educational content tailored to what your data is actually showing at that moment.

What you get

Plain-language explanations of every key metric
Event-based education (e.g. "why did you spike after breakfast?")
Contextual guidance for post-meal, fasting, and overnight readings
Links to peer-reviewed resources for deeper reading
AI Health Companion

Ask your data anything

GlucoHome includes an AI companion trained on your personal glucose history. You can ask questions like "Why did my glucose spike every Tuesday morning?" or "How has my Time-in-Range changed this month?" and get an evidence-based, personalised answer.

This isn't a chatbot with generic responses — it analyses your actual historical data, compares your patterns to clinical benchmarks, and gives you actionable context.

What you get

Natural language queries against your real glucose data
Pattern detection across days, weeks, and months
Personalised suggestions based on your history
Safe, evidence-based guidance (not medical advice)
Ketone Monitoring

DKA risk, not just glucose

For people with Type 1 diabetes, ketones are as important as glucose — but Dexcom doesn't track them at all. GlucoHome lets you log ketone readings and uses a clinically validated risk scoring model to flag combinations of elevated glucose and ketones that could signal early DKA.

You get colour-coded risk cards, an integrated ketone + glucose chart, and guidance on when to seek medical attention — all within a single unified dashboard.

What you get

Manual ketone entry with timestamping
DKA risk scoring (Safe / Monitor / Seek Advice / Urgent)
Ketone + glucose combo chart (mmol/L dual axis)
Configurable alert thresholds per user
Data Privacy & Ownership

Your health data lives in your home

Every piece of glucose data Dexcom collects about you sits on Dexcom's servers, subject to their privacy policy, their retention decisions, and their business relationships. GlucoHome is different by design.

GlucoHome deploys to your own server or home network. Your data is stored in your database, synced directly from Dexcom's API to you with no middleman. We don't see it, we don't store it, and we can't sell it.

What you get

Self-hosted deployment (your home server, NAS, or VPS)
Direct Dexcom API connection — no GlucoHome servers in between
Your database, your backup, your control
Open architecture — audit the code yourself
Event Logging

Connect the dots between life and glucose

Glucose doesn't exist in isolation. A spike at 7 PM means something very different if you ate pizza at 6 PM vs if you were stressed about a work deadline. GlucoHome's event logger lets you tag meals, exercise, stress, illness, and medication — then overlay those events directly onto your glucose chart.

This is how you go from seeing your glucose to actually understanding it.

What you get

Log meals, carbs, exercise, stress, and medications
Events overlay directly on the glucose chart
Searchable event history
Correlate events with glucose response (time-shifted)
